Honey Salmon

Ingredients:

Salmon filets, about 1 pound to 1.25 pounds

3 tbsp butter

1.5 tbsp chopped garlic or 2 cloves fresh garlic

2 tbsp honey (I prefer local honey)

½ tbsp dried parsley

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

1 lemon sliced into half moons, or 1.5 tsp  lemon juice

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Place salmon skin side down in a glass cooking dish

Place balance of ingredients in small glass bowl, micro wave until butter melts, stir and pour over salmon.

Cook 15 minutes and base salmon with juice in cooking dish

Return to oven, cook about another 6 minutes or so, checking that the fish is not overcooking. (it depends on fillets thickness).

Garnish with lemon slices and or fresh parsley.
